My fiancé is 46 years and am 23 years old. Well we don't look at the age and my fiancé who is 46 doesn't look like her age and don't act like her age at all. Bt sometimes get worried over the age for immigration. Will it be an issue? And it's not for us at all

For Ghana, your age difference may raise some red flags, especially if she at 46 is the beneficiary and you are a 23 year old male. If it is the other way around you should face less scrutiny, but still be aware your age difference is still a red flag.

Age difference is a red flag but the CO cannot discriminate and deny your visa simply because of the age difference.

What you would need to do is front load your petition and provide as much supporting documentation of your relationship as possible so as to remove any doubts the CO may have.

My husband is from Ghana and we have a large age gap as you do. We used a lawyer and front loaded. I don't look my age and neither does my husband but on paper is all they might see about you. Regardless of all the money we spent on a lawyer my husband was still denied his cr1 visa. The case is now in AP and I've contacted our lawyer to intervene as his interview was in September 2015. If I were you make sure your spouse is there with you at the interview. This kind of hurdle is ridiculous because if it's the other way around it's probably not such a big deal. But people's mentalities are often stuck and Ghana is a high fraud country.

There's nothing you can do about the age. Just provide enough evidence to prove that your relationship is bona fide and real.

What needs to be addressed is the cultural norms for your country, childbearing issues, FaceTime , how well both of you are accepted in each other's families, religion differences, and real bona fide relationship evidence.

Ghana is a difficult country let alone another obstacle like age difference. I suggest you read up in the Ghana forum on how interviews went and all the denials that are handed out there.

Good Luck!

Okay guys so what are some of the most common questions asked at the interview?

Questions at the interview aren't really your obstacle. what you need to prove is a real bona fide relationship and how you are overcoming all these cultural norms. Edited by LionessDeon

She should definitely be there for your interview. Collect alotbof evidences...chat logs, phone records, skype logs, photos etc

Well to us the only problem we have is the age difference, that's what keep us stressing if not we are good to go I guess. So is it advisable to go and see any travel and tour company?

What will a travel/tour company do? It doesn't matter what you and her think. What matters is how the IO thinks.

Yes. If she is at the interview, you'll both be questioned either together or separately. All of the couples who came together on my interview day were both asked questions at the interview. You may be asked the same questions separately for the CO to see if you both give the same answers.
