I had that realization the other day when the husband and I were discussing places to move and I realized I was more into staying here.

I don't blame you! Wawa is awesome. Their sandwiches are so convenient when driving long distances/to the beach. (The only thing better is a pub sub but we don't have those up here, wah).

I am so excited to not have to pump my own gas once I finally get my driver's license.

We are probably going to move in a couple years because the property tax here is too crazy :( I like it here though, mostly, and yeah driving to the ocean is so nice..

Are you having trouble getting an NJ license or is it just your first time getting any license?

Yeah the property taxes are definitely up there and I can't believe you have to pay an exit tax if you want to move out of state!

I have a half license lol. I was in the process of getting it in Canada for the first time. Did my G1, most of the driving lessons and then moved here (before ever doing the road test), where I was told I wouldn't be able to get a proper license until I had my EAD in hand. Which of course I found out recently to be untrue. Hoping to have that all sorted within the next month.

So for those in the Washington state area, Fred Meyer / Kroger is now selling a few things - Skor bars. Tim's Cascade potato chips now have a new dill pickle flavour! (pretty good too!) And they have Ruffles all dressed!!!! Sort of. It's the American version advertised as the #1 flavour in Canada and there's a silly explanation of all dressed being not just wearing your clothes, or something. It's okay, but not quite the same 'bite' as the Canadian version. My guess is they tamed down the vinegar. But, it's something!

Sprouts has Dill Pickle chips!! they are kettle type chips.. very good!!!

My favorite are Deep River new York Deli Dill Pickle Chips.. they are better then lays! not sure what they put in them.. but they are BOMB!!! Harder to find

Also, Kettle Brands.. aka Kettle Chips now have a Dill Pickle Chip!!!! (whole foods and krogers have them)

At this point if i moved back to canada i would be craving Poke!! (i love raw fish) and some good froyo!!! lol I am not really a big snacker anymore.. i think because i am getting older and i dont work out as much as i should! haha

As for coffee.. i love tims, but i also just make whatever and it tastes good.. im not an espresso or fancy kinda person.. i get up early for work so i love it strong and black:) and i learned a 'red eye' means black coffee with 3 shots of espresso!! so thats when im really needing a boost!!!! 7/11 has some great coffee as well:)

Not to sound like the pretentious former barista that I am (haha), a red eye is actually only one shot of espresso. A black eye is two and what you're ordering is a purple eye ;).

They already stopped selling them here :(

They weren't the same but they filled in the crack till I could get the good ones.

Dill pickle is all over here no problems finding that.

I miss Ringolo's and BBQ corn chips. I don't want chili corn chips or any other gross combo of it.

I got 2 bags of All Dressed Ruffles at Ralph's a few weeks ago and now I can't find them.

I guess they stopped carrying them already, but I'm hoping they were just out of stock.

It's true they are not as good, but still good enough for me to buy them. My husband stared liking them too.

I miss No Name raisin and almond granola in the yellow club pack bag. The granola I've found is super sugary and flavoured.

Oh I know - I miss that granola too. Try Udi's brand (gluten free) Wildflower Honey + Oat granola (At Target in VA).........darn close minus the raisins (which frankly were hard as rocks anyway).

It sucks that everything else is either loaded with fat or for some reason has coconut in it.
