Casablanca embassy scheldues the interview you have to email them and inform them you have all required evidence that's what they did for my k1 . And they'll email you back your interview date when there ready to schedule it

This does not apply to the OP. Mostafa+Tracey look you applied for the K3. And you are at NSC(Nebraska Service Center so about Mid-April you should get your approval (NOA2) if there are no issues or RFE(Request for Evidence) So I hope you packed a good evidence full petition package.

While you are waiting to get approved you can read up on the next stage which will be NVC (National Visa center) Where the I-129F will be closed and the I-130 moves on. Here is the NVC Process wiki. Please read this This is your bible for NVC.

Once you have read this than come back and ask away. Right now it's waiting patiently and learning all you can about the process. Welcome to VJ. :goofy:

it is not K 3 anymore / it is CR1

a timeline would help

CR1 usually takes about a year

USCIS reviews the application

if accepted and no RFE, it goes to NVC where additional documents will be needed such as his 2 crimianal investigation reports and yours 'also any other documetns as required

at this stage you can sign up at CSEA with your new case # starting with CSBxxxxxxxxxx and watch for case updates

when approved the case goes to the embassy and he will be notified of interview

Morocco is hard place to interview so make sure he has all they ask for / you can not go inside Casa embassy for his interview

write to me if you have any questions

Typically the 2 petitions meet up and the K3 is closed in favor of the IR-1 spouse visa petition.

I hope it works out for you. I don't think many K-3s are getting processed anymore. We tried for a K-3 when we were told it would be over a year for our I-130 to be processed but now our I-130 is approved and we are at the NVC and the I-129f is still pending!

The guides here are very good for learning the process of both visas if you have time to read up on them. Good luck!

thank you and congrats to you i hope you are reunited quickly.
