where to get the W-2's?

Im not quite sure where to get it, Im trying to prepare everything for Grace's interview together with the I-134. Any input will be very much appreciated, thanks.

They are supposed to be given to you or mailed to you by your employer...

If you have never worked or never filed taxes, you won't receive a W-2. If you have a job and earned legal money in 2006, your employer should have given you your W-2 before the end of January 2007 so that you could proceed with filing your taxes. So, contact your HR department.

If you need a copy of your tax return, you can order a transcript (free) or the full return with W-2 ($39 and several weeks!) from "IRS.GOV". Or youcan use a copy of what you already have at home including the W-2.

If you earned income by way of wages, the employer provides you with a W-2, declaring the total wages earned, and the taxes paid on those wages, by the end of January of the year following employment. If you have mispalced the W-2, an employer is legally required to retain copies for a number of years. You could contact any former employers and request another copy.

I thought the law required all employers provide their employees with the W2s by January 31. I think 1099s are due in February sometime. You need to complain to your HR department if you haven't received them by now!
