My interview is in Islamabad Embassy on 24th Feb, i got interview letter 3 weeks ago but my file is still at NVC. is it normal?

Yes. That's almost a month away they usually arrive 14 to 10 days before interview.

Hello everybody just wondering... For the interview do they send you an email or a mail?

I been waiting since Jan 4th when I got an email saying that my case was complete

How long do you think it would take?

And should I do something about it?

We are really desperate to move to the states

I am applying in Mexico

1. For the interview do they send you an email or a mail? Yes you get the P4 Letter usually within 48 hours of interview assignment
2. How long do you think it would take? No idea how long Your embassy is the busiest in the world. All I can say is you are in the queue. Look at the spreadsheet.
3. And should I do something about it? Nothing you can do about anything but wait. Sorry.

This is what I sent. It was approved.

Home Phone: they require 2 phone numbers for Beneficiary!

No not yet called today asking when they are planning to send me an email according case completed... cc was on january 16th because i still haven't had an email yet but she passed it on to her supervisor. And she sayed there isnot a date scheduled yet.

i got married in usa and came back to Pak without advance parole. Don't know what they will ask me in interview.

Advance Parole is for K1 Visa holders who are going through adjustment of Status. You filed a I-130.

I gather you went to US got married went back to your country and petitioner filed I-130 correct.

They haven't started announcing yet as far as I can see. Today they should be starting. They are almost open. Give them until late afternoon. I'll keep ya'll posted if I hear of any embassies getting announced.

My status change to In Transit yesterday. I spoke to NVC and they confirmed that it is delivery to Islamabad. So by next they should receive it. I am thinking to send an email to embassy requesting for earlier date if possible since i will be in Pakistan next month.
