We received notification of interview for 5 Jan 16 about two weeks ago. Week later we received notification of application approval and then on 9 Dec we received green cards. No interview cancellation has been received. Do we still need to go to the interview? I will call the help line Monday and see what the robot with the script will say. This is for a K1 and K2 entry and now their AOS that has been processed at the same time.

I would ask to speak to a tier 2 IO that has more access to your case info, rather than just the call center worker that answers the phone. Even better would be trying to get an Infopass appointment at your local USCIS office where the interview is scheduled so they can take care of the mixup themselves.

Called and talked to second level. They seemed confused but told me to send question to local office with copies of all documents received. Sent letter out yesterday registered mail and will post response when I get it. I sent; interview 797C, approval 797, and copies of green cards.

To be honest we are just so grateful to have the permanent resident cards it just doesn't matter. We would rather skip the trip to the local office if possible.
