Hello. Has anyone here tried to track their cases from NVC to embassy thru the DHL website? We tried today. yay. Our case complete date is either December 7 or 8. We saw the 3 N/As on Dec 7. We called to confirm on Dec 8.

So we tried to use December 8 as the date and we found one shipment to Manila, Philippines on that day! Omg. Wish that is our case. Anyway, we tried also other dates, (December 7, 9, 10, and 11) and found nothing that is going to Philippines.

We found 1 shipment to Philippines for December 4

2 shipments on December 3, and

1 shipment on December 1.

We used this format EXP 08 DEC 2015A

Hey, NVC ships your case after scheduling an interview date with the embassy. Go to CEAC and "Check My Visa Application Status" to see if it's still at NVC? you and I both had same CC dates. Still no interview date for me.

Issued! The interview was on December 2nd, on the 5th SEAC status changed to Administrative Processing and today, on the 7th it says Issued. Now it's carved in stone finally and I am out of any doubt

I did do a lot of front loading. I even sent them a 25 page child art style book I made (which I let the kids color) that explained our whole story with pictures instead of words.

Hi DonT! Thanks for the suggestion but unfortunately it ain't working :/ Are you using a specific browser? I'm using Firefox right now and when I right click on the messages it doesn't give me the option to save them as pdf... Hell, it doesn't give me any option to save/prin

Go to settings and select "Download a copy of your Facebook data."

They'll email you once the download is ready, go to your email and download the Zip<YOURFACEBOOK-NAME.Zip> file.

Extract it and you'll see "Index.html" inside that folder. Open that file with a web browser and go to messages. et voila !!!! CTRL+F and type the name of the person you want to see the conversation. It's all there!!! you can print it from there. This is what I'm going to do.

September 18, 2015: Case was received by NVC

September 29, 2015: Case number and invoice ID number assigned

October 5, 2015: Filled out DS-261

: Paid AOS bill

October 28, 2015: Received and paid IV bill

November 2, 2015: sent AOS and IV packets

November 3, 2015: completed DS-260

: Scan date

December 8, 2015: Case complete

December 28, 2015: Medical

January 20, 2016: Interview

: received 221g

January 26, 2016: US embassy received documents

February 3, 2016: Status changed to "issued"

Hey guys! Just an update! I had the interview this morning and when I checked ceac right now before going to bed, it already shows ISSUED! Mumbai embassy is on a roll!

We are so happy!!

30-Dec-2014: Married

19-Jan-2015: I-130 Sent

21-Jan-2015: NOA

16-Jul-2015: NOA 2 (No RFE's! Yayy)

15-Jul-2015: Case sent to NVC

22-Jul-2015: Case received by NVC

5-Aug-2015: Case # and IIN assigned

6-Aug-2015: Filled and submitted DS-261

7-Aug-2015: AOS fee invoiced and paid(Status: In Process)

10-Aug-2015: AOS fees changed to PAID

10-Aug-2015: AOS and IV packages sent

12-Aug-2015: AOS and IV packages received(SCAN DATE)

13-Aug-2015: DS-261 reviewed over the phone

14-Aug-2015: IV fee invoice received

15-Aug-2015: IV fee paid(Status: In Process)

19-Aug-2015: IV fee status changed to PAID

19-Aug-2015: DS-260 completed

21st-Sept-2015: Put on supervisor review :(

03-Nov-2015: Case Complete!!

14-Dec-2015: Interview Day!!!

LonelaC,

Lets follow these steps carefully

1. Log in to your Facebook account (Firefox/Internet explorer)

2.On the same page, open a new tab

3.Type www.m.facebook.com (this is where I missed it cos I gave you Facebook/messages)

4.Click on the message icon on the new page you just opened cos you already logged in

5.You will see the list of your friends chats

6.Click on your spouse name

7. it will open ,look at the top and you will see "Load previous messages" keep going as long as you want

8.Right click on the page and click on "Print"

9. This will give you what you're looking for. (I used it and it worked for me, though I wasn't able to print all our chats as this will definitely require a mini-crane to carry it to the embassy :no: ).

This does NOT restrict you to 5 months or so. It can take you right from the first day you became friends on Facebook.

Hope the instructions doesn't sound too difficult :rolleyes:

Do cr-1 holders have to apply for the SSN, or they receive it without the application after the arrival in the USA?

Social Security card arrived only after the visit to SS office, on 01/20

Green Card arrived: 2016-01-27

From NOA-1 to the interview - 141 days (4 months and 18 days)

Anyone knows how to print out whatsapp conversations?

love11, you go on whatsapp, you click on the person you are having the conversation with and then the convo opens. Right. Then you click on top of the window, where their name is and it takes you to a page called "Contact Info". You scroll down and you'll the see option to "Email Chat". And that's it! You can send it to your private email and print it out from there. Hope it helps :)

I made the screen shots of our chats. They look more lively than if they are placed in word format. One screen shot for one week of communication is enough.

Sekhvaruli, if you ticked yes for the question "Do you want the Social Security Administration to issue a Social Security number and a card?" in the DS-260 form then you should be fine. Your husband should receive it by mail after his POE.

If not, then I think you need to apply for one.

DonT, it is working like that, thank you! It'll just take me a full day most probably since we have over 100k messages (so just imagine how many times I have to click to load everything lol).
