Someone on here had their IV interview for IR1/CR1 scheduled on 12/2/15 for 1/25/16. Their Case Complete was 11/25/15. My wife's Case Compete for her IR1/CR1 was 10/14/15, but no interview has been scheduled as of last night. I thought the NVC goes strictly by Case Complete. This is for Embassy Beirut and the other person's case is not expedited. NVC says I should wait for the interview to be scheduled. Should I be concerned? Thanks to all for reading.

Someone from another country has nothing to do with yours. Yes its Case Complete order. You will be interviewing where Jordan, Egypt expect a 4 to 6 month wait that's how it is for that region.

Each embassy has their allotted slots and NVC fills them with the interview queue for that country. Look at the spreadsheet and scroll and filter for your embassy of interview and you will see where the case complete timeline is now. Hope this helps.

the person you mentioned is Philippines.

My wife's interview was going to be scheduled in Jordan, however we had the interview location transferred to Lebanon on 11/4/15. The case is complete and at the NVC awaiting to be set for interview at the US Embassy in Beirut, Lebanon. From what I can see on the interview spreadsheet, US Embassy Beirut is quick to assign interviews after case complete. The person I mentioned is also an applicant with a CR1/IR1 with case completed 11/25/15 and interview was set on 12/2/15 at the US Embassy in Beirut. It doesn't appear they've updated their timeline, but probably will do so soon.

I spoke with a Case Specialist at the NVC this morning and they advised that the case is under Administrative Processing. Even though the case was completed 10/14/15, change of embassy location from Amman to Beirut was completed 11/4/15 (I received a new case number with new prefix for Beirut), it is under going Administrative Processing due to the change in embassies. No information was provided how long this might take to complete. Has anyone experienced a similar delay?

I've seen a few comments recently about interview questions pertaining to previous marriages. I am the petitioner and my husband knows I was married before but we never got into any of details, as I like to leave the past in the past.

Should I be giving him more details for the interview? Do these questions come up often?

Usually long as you know they were married. I have seen people asked what is the ex's birthday? Where do they live? If you don't know you don't know. Just say have no idea we don't talk abt their ex.

My PD is July 09 2014 and I called today to ask for my interview, I was told I'm under CSPA review. I've submitted all forms and documents. Please does anyone have an idea of how long it'll take to review my case to get interview.

Sorry what is CSPA review? When was your Case Completed at NVC?

For those who will be having interviews, I can only say please learn from our snafu and please check your documents before you got to your interview so that you have the original of the documents they ask for.

With that being said, the last update on our case was on 11/25. The administrative processing is ongoing. Getting a 221g can really really, slow things up, even if you send it in shortly after the interview.

Congratulations for those who have their things in order.

What is the form 221g?

What is the form 221g?

This form was given to use after the interview because we didn't have one of the originals of the required documents. We were ineligible for a visa until we furnished the document. See here:http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/general/ineligibilities.html

One that happens, it can get really bad as I am learning the hard way.

Usually long as you know they were married. I have seen people asked what is the ex's birthday? Where do they live? If you don't know you don't know. Just say have no idea we don't talk abt their ex.

Thank you dwheels76. Your response makes me feel better. I told my husband when I divorced and why, I think that is enough,

Some of these questions sound extreme to me, I don't even remember my exes birthday nor know where he lives. Sounds like these are just ways to find out if someone is truthful or not.

I'm thinking maybe people scramble because they don't know the information and feel like they have to have an answer, so they make stuff up, resulting in a denial.
