Once you have your case approved, you can complete the DS-160. You don't have to wait for your case to be ready. Just bring the print out of the confirmation page with the bar code to your interview.

Thanks, I just got e-notification today, hoping to get NOA2 in December. You are a couple days ahead of me. Fill out your timeline so I can follow it so when you get NOA2 I will know im only a couple days behind. :) Good luck!

My receipt number is not recognized in the USCIS app. Does it take a few days to process before it will let me track that way?

May take an extra day or so. But after that it will tick like and old watch.

My receipt number is not recognized in the USCIS app. Does it take a few days to process before it will let me track that way?

I just got e-notification yesterday, and already today my receipt number works in the system. I know everyone said to wait for the hard copy, but mine didn't take that long...

I just got our e-NOA1 as well!! I was bummed because it was past 5:00pm and I didn't think it was coming today. It ended up showing up at 6:38pm. We went to CSC and our timeline estimate is 1/3-1/6! Not quite Christmas sadly but definitely faster than I had ever imagined before I started this process! Good luck everyone!! :)
