Hi everyone,

First time posting but been following this page.

I filed concurrently i-485, i-130 & i-765 on November 17th.

Nov 19th - Case Received

Nov 24th - NOA1

Dec 22nd - Biometrics Appointment

No updates on EAD (still showing as 'case received') however got a letter inviting me for i-485 interview with my husband on March 3rd. Is it likely they will not issue my EAD as I am on day 76 so I am unsure whether to do service request.

Hello,

It seems we are on similar timelines. My case was received Nov. 23, Biometrics done Dec. 22 but still no update. Has your i485 updated in USCIS website? Or did you just receive interview letter with no updates? If so, I am hoping my interview letter comes in the mail pretty soon.

Good Luck.

Thanks,

I walked in and did my biometrics today.. finally.. hopefully the ball gets rolling now!

Laujersey you might want to think about making an infopass appointment about your biometrics letter, you really should have got it months ago.

I have a quick question and I hope someone knows the answer to it.

When you raise a Service request online (for the 75th day), does the system gives you automatically a Reference number, or do you receive at all a reference number? Or does that happen only when you call and raise it with a customer service person on the phone?

Thank you in advance

It should give you automatically. If you have an account on the USCIS page, you can check it out immediately online. If you gave them your email address when you made the service request, the system automatically send a confirmation mail about that.

Your GC is being produced too? Congrats! I was watching your timeline because you are in Dallas too, and I seen a November filer from Dallas get their GC issued within two months too! Man, you just had your EAD approved, didn't you?

Yes it was strange for me that they making both cards, because when I will get my GC , there is no need for EAD, and it was literally hours between both updates. But it doesn't matter now. Finally we can start living normal life :)

Good Evening,

My case was received in 2015 on the:

19th November for i-765

23rd Nov i-485

24th Nov i-130

Bio-metrics walk in completed on December 22nd 2015

Today (3rd feb 2016) i called to inquire regards my i-765, as it has been 75/76 days.

I received the following info on my online case when i finished talking over the phone-

As of February 3, 2016, your inquiry about the status of your Employment Authorization application, referral number T1BXXXXXXXXMSC, is currently not assigned for processing.

I was told it could take between 15 and 30 days before i hear word back.

Also, i never got my medical completed and i wondered if that would of gone against my case but I have not even received an RFE.

I was told once i get my medical completed and bring it with me the day of the interview then it should be fine.

thanks for sharing your timeline and info as it is good to measure were other people are and how they are getting on,

Hopefully i will find out in the coming days about my request over the phone and i can add more info.

Personally, i am not to bothered about the Green card interview as i do not plan on leaving the country anytime soon but the work card (EAD) is what has me anxious as i have been working since Sept 2015 and need to get a SSN so i can pass on to accounts in my work so they can pay me.

Hope it helps people sharing my experience so far...

Regards

J

Hi everyone

I put in a Service Request for my EAD (form I-765) yesterday, I checked the USCIS app this morning and my EAD was approved, which is great news.

However, my AP (form I-131) has not. I tried yesterday to put in a service request for the AP but the automated system wouldn't let me, the message reads that it's within the processing period despite it being over 75 days.

Has anyone else had this problem? I wasn't too concerned since the EAD was more important, except that I got a message from home about a family emergency and so travelling is now my priority. I'm aware I can visit my local USCIS office to expedite the service, but I wondered if anyone else has any experience with this and whether I can expect my AP to be approved soon.

Thanks for any help/advice!

7th January 2014: No sign of NOA1 receipt. My fiancé (the petitioner) contacted USCIS and was told they would send out a new receipt.
27th May 2015: Confirmation on USCIS website that case was approved. Waiting for formal NOA2. 177 days since application.
