For those who had their photos done for the magical and the interview. The photo studio said there is only one size for US - passport photo. Did you have each individual picture stamped and dated or every other ?

stamped and dated? I got my photos in a US costco. There are no dates stamped. Can someone else elaborate on whether this is really required to have dates stamped?

First... Congrats to all the ones who got interviews scheduled and case complete. The wait is almost over!!! :goofy:

Now, a quick update... my case on CEAC site changed from AP to Ready. My sons is still in AP. Dunno if this is good or not, I have read it is a good sign, but anyways... All I can do is pray and hope for the best. Mine is like this now.

Ready

Immigrant Visa Case Number: GTM*********** GTM Case Creation Date: 07-Feb-2013 Status Updated Date: 16-Nov-2015

They denied my request to reschedule the interview date. But it's only 2 weeks remaining anyway. The countdown has begun!

Good luck!

Unfortunately we will not be able to assist you with your request. Consular Section conducts the immigrant visa interviews once per week and November is fully scheduled.

Wow! Once a week! That is crazy!

Ok perfect! thank you, i sent the email, my reason is that they lost my documents that caused a 5 month delay, i sent them proof, tracking number and confirmation letter of recepeit, hopefully they approve it :), how long does it take for them to respond?

It depends on your embassy..but a minimum of 5 days.
