No engagement ring purchased yet at time of interview Manila

Ok got here Saturday to be w evy, we have not yet bought engagement ring, she is very clear to me she don't like expensive. We looked but not yet found the simple one she wants, she is set on that a fancy ring is not at all what she wants, so we will look once back in Cebu, however our interview will be in few days, is it problem if she don't actually have a ring yet???

if you worry to much about ring, she can just wear simple nice ring, that's all.. I had my own ring, because I just like to wear it. We didn't get engagement ring, because I wanted nice wedding ring and asked him to to spend money on engagement ring.

At our interview they did not ask about a ring or anything guess it depends on interview goes .

They won't ask about it, won't ask to see or anything. Don't think they will even notice if she's not wearing one.

If they do ask about it though (which I doubt) she should just be honest and say she haven't found one she likes yet

I wouldn't be worried about it honestly. Not sure which foreign country your fiance is from, but in many countries engagement rings aren't really a thing, or at least aren't seen as such a necessary part of the process.

I would assume most consulate workers are aware of this, and wont make it into a make-or-break issue. Plus saying your fiance hasn't found one she likes yet is a perfectly reasonable answer. I know I am the same way when it comes to flashy/expensive rings.
