IF it has been over 90 days from filing (which I assumed since you are an October filer) you can call the USCIS number (800) 375-5283 and submit an eRequest and say that your I-765 has "Passed Regulatory Timeframe."

You should hear back within 30 days. You can also do this online:

Outside Normal Processing Time: https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/displayONPTForm.do?entryPoint=init&sroPageType=onpt

I had this issue and filed the eRequest on 01/05/2016 and my EAD was approved on 01/27/2016 (within 30 days)

Good luck!

This means they received your request. Based on yourr posts, I would still go to the USCIS office with your infopass and speak to an officer.

Thank you for taking time to reply. I will call them tomorrow. I am a late October filer and had one month delay as my address was wrong so I corrected it. I had my biometrics on Dec. 22 as my first notice was sent back to USCIS. I hope that this is the reason for the delay of my EAD.

I can't speak for what the interview is like, but from what I have read, its really not that bad. Check out the reviews of the USCIS location where your interview will be held. If your happily married you should be fine with no worries. Seems like the best advice is taking joint bills/car insurance/lease(mortgage) or anything that proves your a real couple. Good luck, I'm sure you'll be fine.
