you can sent a copy, based on what is written on a guidelines but some people sent the original copy or authenticated copy just to make sure. In some case they accepting only a copy but some they're asking for original copy/authenticated copy of BC. So it all depends who's handling our case.

You are right... I planned to send the original thats what i found from internet resources, but some how i end up with sending copy... So far I have no RFE and finished BM this week.

In any case submitting Original is wiser...

Hey Steftlin - thanks for the update! where are you able to see that, i'd like to track it too! I'm technically a Sept 30 filer so I'm really hoping AP comes soon ... at least before Dec 23 when we're flying

Also.... anyone know about AP not being granted? I had read that its supposed to be for "emergencies only" but it seems that everyone gets their standard EAD/AP no problem. (perhaps not if you request the rushed AP but the standard one i haven't heard too many people saying theirs were denied).

I have called before I applied for i131, for emergency only", they said that for i 485 applicant they issue AP as process usually take longer than usual processing time. That emergency only is for some particular case. If you read instruction, its confusing.

My travel arrangements are made for Dec, I am not sure I am gonna get AP. I have sent copy of my travel arrangements with i131 application. Planing to call them next week, in case they speed up the process.

Did you contacted them for AP?

Hello bkp51!!

According to the AP timeline (which of course is NOT a science - but a guide) they are working on Sept 16 or 17th dates for AP & EAD's . It looks like you're about a little over a month behind that (according to your timeline).

By no means am I trying to be negative, but if you're planning traveling on December 11th, that's only about 2 1/2 weeks away. Maybe you can call and see if anything can be done to expedite yours. I know usually they won't do it unless it's an emergency, but there's no harm in trying.

I am calling them this week, was waiting for BM to finish. I have already sent my travel arrangements with my application, lets hope thats help.

Hi guys. I also applied early October, went through biometrics, and received interview schedule for Dec 22nd in San Bernardino CA.

However, I recently received another mail stating that my schedule interview was cancelled. It said they would let me know when the next interview would be scheduled.

Has anyone filed in October experienced the same problem?

I don't know why they would cancel an appointment.

Any clarification is greatly appreciated.

It seems like a common thing by a quick search on VJ... people suggest either going to the scheduled interview date anyway or scheduling a infopass to see what happened. But it could be a variety of reasons.... local office overbooked, holiday slowdown, local office didn't receive your paperwork yet, etc.

According to the current processing times USCIS just started on apps from Sept 18 (EAD) and Sept 20 (AP)... so hopefully they get to Oct apps by the first or second week of dec and everyone get's there cards by xmas/ny... happy thanksgiving everyone!

Unbelievable - I rescheduled biometrics because we were away on that date, and on the new date I will also be travelling.

I think I'll try walk-in tomorrow.

Do they still continue to work on the application even though biometrics are not taken, or is it just lying on a pile now waiting for the results? That would be too bad, since I am applying for a job and would really like my EAD.

I'm a month ahead of you and no biometric appointment yet.

For some reason post office returned 2 pieces of mail on 11/17 so maybe that was it but when I call they are not able to tell me what was the letter for and that they have 30 days to send it
