My husband flew to the USA and we married a couple weeks later. We sent in the AOS package and payment and did the biometric appt. He was with me 4 months when there was a grave family emergency back

It's just my opinion...but looking at the status over and over and over again seems pointless and only adds to the stress. One day we see 3 N/A, another day we see "PAID" the next day it's 3 N/A agai

DWheels76 explained this, but I'll try again. If you sent ORIGINAL documents to NVC, then NVC has forwarded these to the Embassy or Consulate. You are not required to bring any more originals to you

Izabela, really thank you very much for reassuring me, I am so grateful for you and u cant imagine how much coz there were many plans that I cant have decision about coz I was afraid of taking time in issuing the visa but 1 to 2 weeks to go is great ... thanks again and may god be with u dear <3

Just got an e-mail from NVC -- My wife's interview in Budapest Hungary is scheduled for December 22.

We had hoped that she would have the visa and be ready to travel here by New Years -- is that a possibility? Assuming the interview goes as planned, how fast is a visa actually issued?

my interview is scheduled on 15 th December 2015. so happy! may be I ll be able to spend my anniversary with hubby.

You have no timeline so can;t add you to spreadsheet. Whats your CC date. And check you countries info page on how fast you get back visa.

Guess am the first person to be interviewed that day, Hmmmmmm happyyy happy happy... do anyone know documents to have at hand, wanna start having all my doc at hand now.

@cy6rtg we both have the same interview date in lagos Nigeria 7am. Please kindly fill your timeline so it can help others. You should be getting a P4 letter that tells you all necessary document to bring for the interview. I wish us goodluck.

It's all in your interview letter. Bring your evidence you want and go get medical. Be there by 5am to be in the queue. And your time has nothing to do with when you will be interviewed. But when you are brought in embassy. You may be sitting there for 3 hours. Just be there by 5am. DO NOT be late for Lagos.

im keeping checking my status and it says"in transit" , so wwhen it will be change??and how i would know ??

Your status will change when the Embassy/Consulate scans your file into the system. So...DHL might have delivered it on Friday, but until someone actually scans in your file, it will stay "In Transit". You will know when your file has been scanned in - then your status will change to "Ready".
