Hi Hamada2013, i do everything alone. In this NVC process you have to call often and think ahead. Be prepare in advance.

Ooh yeah truly must prepare in advance im just confusing abt form ds-260! Do u have any example plz

7/31/2013​ - Moved to US on F1 visa
4/16/2014​ - Married LPR; in relationship for 12yrs
12/30/​2014 - Applied for F2A visa on I-130 (Vermont)
12/31/2014 - P​D
1/5/2015 - NOA1 received
8/27/2015 - Case transferred to California
9/22/2015 - Petition approved (NOA2) Case send to NVC
10/22/2015 - Filed AOS application at Chicago Lockbox.
10/27/2015 - Case received by NVC
11/2/2015 - Received welcome letter.<p>
11/4/2015 - Received receipt notice for I-485 and EAD via text and email
12/07/15 - inquiry on status of biometric
12/21/15 - response via mail that case in pre-processing stage
12/28/15 - inquiry on status of EAD
12/29/15 - response via mail; in suspension until bio is done. Also received bio appointment for 01/12/16.

01/12/16- bio appointment successful

01/12/16-received rfe via mail for joint sponsor and proof of imm. status

Chejemmie waht u mean by adjustment of status??

I am in the US on an F1 visa. Instead of going back home to go through consular processing I will be able to stay in the US until my number becomes current and get my GC from a local office.

PD december 3,2014 .Scan date Nov 2,2015.hopefully i wont have any chechlist.praying for everything to go smoothly.

Sorry guys i forgot to update. i paid my aos on oct 23, 2015

I received Welcome letter on Oct 26, 2015

i paid IV on oct 28, 2015

I sent AOS documents and IV documents on Oct 28, 2015

Waiting for Scanned date :rofl:

I got my Welcome letter from nvc today. I called and emailed them that I have requested uscis to adjust status instead of consular processing. NVC will keep the case on hold till notified by uscis.

Hello guys can you please help me this is my last chance here before hiring a lawyer, I'm from Morocco my us citizen wife has divorced my I'm a green card holder, I went back home for a vacation meet someone then got married when I've filed her I130 since June 18th on August 27 my case was transferred to my local office do you guys have any idea about what's going on? Do I have to hire a lawyer? Do you guys think that a lawyer can make things move faster? Thanks guys I appreciate your time
