Hello there again,

I got my medical result last month. I was told that I should leave the country in November but that's not the date we're planning to leave. I'm confused. We are leaving February next year hopefully because that's the only time my husband can bring me to US.

I do not know why you was told november

The expiration to use the visa expires 6 months from the date of your medical

if you did the medical last month feburary will be close to expiration for you

we had same situation I was told also in my medical last June that i leave the country last July but until now not leave yet because I'm waiting the visa of my sons that until now not done I think its ok but need to be there in US before the visa will expired.

we had same situation I was told also in my medical last June that i leave the country last July but until now not leave yet because I'm waiting the visa of my sons that until now not done I think its ok but need to be there in US before the visa will expired.

Be sure to check your visa for the expiration date. You must be on US soil before that date or you will be turned away and would have to repeat the entire process over again.

Did you have to do SPUTUM testing? That would explain a shorter date.

The date you need to pay attention to is printed on the visa, look for the expiration date on the visa.. clear POE before that date.
