Is anyone having a long wait to get K1 approval thorugh the Texas service center? I submited my application in March 2015. On the timeline it shows all other months including april, june, july as being processed. Are they skipping march? Whats going on with this long wait time for March applicants? Can anyone shed some light on the situation?

I'm a mid-February filer and just got approved 8/31. TSC is running right around 200 days +/- a few days. It's my understanding that all of the petitions from late March on were sent to CSC. Those April, May and June approvals you are seeing are probably really at CSC.

Good luck and hope you get NOA2 soon

According to the timeline here they're just now getting around March 3rd, 2015 NOA1s.

But yeah for TSC it's about a 200 day wait.

Sadly, most everyone going through Texas has to endure a long wait and the majority of March filers have not received their approvals yet. The April-July petitions you see being approved are all California Service Center filers who didn't enter their service center correctly... several people confuse the Texas Lockbox, which receives ALL applications, with the Texas Service Center. Which can cause some confusion for those of us actually stuck at TSC. From all the information that has been posted here, it seems that all I-129F petitions are being sent to California since the end of March, so there aren't actually any April, June and July filers at TSC. Us March filers are the last of the unlucky lot. It's a frustrating situation.

I recommend checking this thread for March TSC filers: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/541580-i-129f-filers-march-2015-noa1-date-tsc-only/page-31(link goes to last page of the thread).

Good luck, hopefully you won't have to wait much longer!

Hmmmmm so you mean I could of filed in April, May Or June and had a faster response? This is depressing how long TSC takes.

Saddly yes. I expected mine to go to TSC because I live in Texas, I was going to originally file in Feburary but then my fiance couldn't come down til April, so we waited til April, then a big surprise, it went to CSC.

People didn't really realize that everything was being sent to CSC until a month or so later, around late May, when everyone started asking why they went to CSC even though they were closer to texas.

Just stick with it though, it'll make ya'll very strong in the end. This is a hard process for a lot of people, if you can make it through and do this wait it'll be absolutely worth it.

I received my NOA1 on January 12th 2015 and we've still heard nothing its been over 8 months now! Even the USCIS website shows that they working on cases past when i filed our k-1 unf$&king-believable! I was able to submit an inquiry this past week, and it says I should get a reply by October 7th lol. I called USCIS and all they said they could do is submit an inquiry which i had already done that morning so as expected it was a complete waste of time. TSC and the whole visa process is a total f$cking joke.

These long wait times are just unbelievable. When I read stories of people having to wait over eight months it is quite depressing. Just out of curiosity would it of been possible to pick the service center I wanted to submit my fiancé visa application to? In other words could someone actually pick the California or other service center and submit directly to them?

Yes, tier one inquiry, tier two inquiry, congressional inquiries from both senators and the congressman, looks like TSC finally got tired of us
