Hi fellow IR-1 / CR-1

I have been trying relentlessly trying to call to find out if they received or obtained our case number and IIN.

Everything was going as as per usual with NOA1 and NOA2 aprox 25 days but since NOA2 nothing, nada, I keep trying to call both USCIS and NVC but the NVC is always "too many calls at this time" My question is what options do I have from here, my daughter is 5 months old and we need to relocate for my husbands work very early next year. This is creating anxiety and stress, should I hire a lawyer, I am at a lost right now, please any advice is welcome. Thank you.

Hiring a lawyer won;t do anything. They can;t spend your process and they don;t call NVC.

You have to just keep calling hanging up calling redial redial redial. Some call right at opening 7am EDT or close to closing (I wouldn't wait pass 10:30pm ....You have10 minutes).

They will send you an email with welcome letter and your case# and such it just comes later most call to get case# earlier.
