Islamabad Medical Examination & Vaccinations - Question

Just planning ahead for the medical exam and vaccinations at Aziz Meidcal Center in Islamabad. Have a couple of questions and would really appreciate if someone who has been through the process can answer them. Thanks in advance.

#1: Do I need to bring along the immunization and vaccination records for the vaccines and other shots received shortly after the time of my birth? I am kinda nervous because I do not have them.

#2: What medical tests and vaccinations do people normally go through?

#3: I plan on showing them my medical test reports from when I applied for my student visa to US like 6 years ago. Would they be helpful during the medical examination or not really?

#4: How many days do they require to get your medical examination report and all the tests ready to take to the US embassy?

I am from Costa Rica and I am going to follow the checklist the embassy sent me in the packet 3, Perhaps your embassy handle it similar to the one ins my country.

They will send you a list of doctors approved to do the physical examination, you should bring your vaccine records with you but if you don't have them, they will give your the vaccines according to your age ( you need to pay for them )

The radiologist will make an x Ray of your lungs to make sure you don't have tuberculosis

The approved laboratories will make a blood test ( VDRL) to make sure you do not have any STDs / HIV+

The doctor will just make sure you have the vaccines required, that you don't have untreatable TB or STDS that you haven't been or are a drug user and that you don't have any mental issues :) , he / she might take a peek of your genitalia ( to make sure you are the gender you said you are) .

A prior medical examination performed more than 6 months ago and a practitioner not approved by the U.S. embassy in your country won't be valid.

At least in Costa Rica , the medical has to be done one week ahead of the interview

September 2nd, 2015 Received by the U.S. Embassy in Costa Rica ( tracked by DHL website)

September 9th,2015 Visa status says Ready at CEAC website, US embassy processed it and updated it.

Packet 3 Received by email: 2015-09-11

September 14th, 2015

VDRL blood test ( Clinica Orlich)

Lung x- Ray ( Clinica Biblica Dr Willy Sancho)

OIJ criminal record certificate with Authentification

Paid $265 (144.425 colones ) k visa fee at www.ustraveldocs.com/cr

September 16th,2015 Physical test with Dr Franz Cheves Sell and immunization record completed

Interview Date : September 22nd,2015

Interview Result : APPROVED

Sept 23rd,2015: Visa status says "Administrative Processing" at CEAC website

Sept 24th, 2015: Visa status says "Issued" at CEAC website

Sept 25th,2015: Visa received. The Postal Office called me and ask to bring my id and copy to get my passport and package

Sept 29th,2015: US entry

Oct 1st, 2015: MARRIAGE. :)

October 5th,2015 : United States Uniformed Services ID

October 26th, 2015: Social security card( with married name)

November 2nd,2015 AOS filed sent $1070 check

November 11th 2015 NOA1

November27th, 2015 RFE

November 30th,2015 Biometrics

Jan 11th, 2016 AP sent. Jan 24th,2016 app returned( officer made a mistake)

February 4th,2016 info pass, humanitarian reason Advance Parole in the local USCIS office requested and received the same day

June 9th, 2016 Green card approved, no interview June 16th, 2016 GREEN CARD RECEIVED

You dont need to show anything else You just go paid the money and they will take your medical exam also you need your email from embassy and your passport copy and your id I think case numbers for medical You can call AZIZ Medical center during work times they will give u more information about what they need from you they don't accept no medical exam from no where just get fresh medical and send it to embassy good luck

Just did my medical here. Yes bring along any vaccination records you have, if you do not have any records do not worry about that.

They will do a chest xray, some blood tests, and they will give you vaccinations as required.

Bring those reports, although they may not care to see them at all.

Took a week to get the report back.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

You don't need to bring any vaccination records unless you have them. They will give you the vaccinations at the time of medical. So don't worry.
