Hi all,

On July 10 I got my NOA2 and to this day nvc has not received my cases....

They instructed me to email nvcresearch@state.gov, which I did, and a USCIS tier 2 supervisor has emailed CSC for me, but the first USCIS supervisor told me to wait up to 90 days for NVC to receive the cases!

Has anyone else experienced a long wait from noa2 to nvc??

Does this warrant any further action on my part??

Thank you!

The NVC had computor problems for 2 months and couldn't process anyone.... So I wouldn't expect any speedy service... We got our NOA 2 in April and we are still here listening to excuses... Welcome to the wonderful world of the State Dept.

Is there a way for you to get in touch with CSC to find out if they've physically sent over the file to NVC?

Is there a way for you to get in touch with CSC to find out if they've physically sent over the file to NVC?

The second USCIS supervisor I spoke with actually emailed the CSC and said I should hear from them...

But is this considered longer-than-normal processing? Can I ask my congressman to look into it if I don't have any progress soon??

If I were you, I'd try to figure out a way to speak to CSC first. Don't rely on anyone to contact you.

40 days since NOA2 sounds long to me. Did NVC say anything about delays receiving csc cases?

My noa2 date is July 22 and I have seen that they are now processing later dates on the timelines. I'm worried as well since its been 26 days. It's amazing how subpar their computer systems can be compared to the rest of the world. I'm a project implentation engineer in IT and if we worked as slow as they do we would be out of a job.

Thank you!

USCIS s acting up. I think it is awful that they don't send the petition as they claim they did on the NOA2 letter.

I called, requested a tier 2 supervisor, and inquired when my approved petition was sent to NVC. I can give them 2 weeks cause what is what they did me but anything more than that is unreasonable.

The supervisor was able to find out when it was sent. I hope they sort out that item with your petition.

Wow, it has been 4 months since you received your NOA2 and still nothing from NVC?? This is the longest wait I have heard since I have been reading posts on here.. The USCIS usually take longer than the NVC, the NVC process usually takes 4 weeks or less, hope you will hear something from them soon..

I also have had issues with NVC. I got my NOA2 5/28/15 and got notice that my case was sent to NVC 6/8/15. I have called almost every day and they told me they don't have it. I got a state senator's office involved because the situation was ridiculous. Last month the state senator's office told me that my case was sent back to TSC. I called USCIS and they told me I couldn't inquire for 180 days. I have to wait over 6 months before I have a right to know anything. The state senator has contacted TSC but they have not heard anything yet. It has been over a month since the contacted them. I am thinking of starting over. Getting married and doing the I-130. This situation is beyond ridiculous.

That is crazy. What in the world is wrong with these people.

Sorry to hear you had to experience such disregard. Even more irrephensible is that the Senator got involvled and they still don't want to cooperate. Unbeliveable.

I have the same issue going on.

My case was approved on July 15 and I been contacting NVC almost every day and they don't have my case yet.

But I seen some case here that NVC receives their case right away.

Here is a whole thread devoted to this topic (now locked but with lots of info):

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/526480-noa2-to-nvc-have-you-been-waiting-more-than-a-month/

If service requests aren't working for you, I recommend a) e-mailing CSC directly b) contacting the USCIS omsbudsman c)infopass with USCIS.

I'd only suggest those if you've been waiting 2+ months for your petition to arrive at NVC.
