Why on Gods green earth the admins here don't update their forms is a big mystery. Many of the sample forms have errors as well. Buyer beware!

If I recall correctly, the adminstrators have a note posted that says to always check the USCIS site for the latest forms. This forum is here as a tool and a guide but ultimately the responsibility of ensuring the proper forms are obtained is ours and not the administrators. Just my two cents.

VJ is very helpful in so many ways... About the expired I129F, I think almost everybody here new about it and so were informed to get the latest one at USCIS website. Maybe you should search for topics about new 129F form before making tirades and rants because I'm pretty sure, it has been discussed so many times here at the forum...

Well let's just take another look at something. I filed K-3 and on my page http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...mp;page=k3guide

If you look underneath number 3, it says specifically that you should always check USCIS for the latest forms. I'm quite sure if it's on this page, it's on the k-1 guide page too. Reading is fundamental. BTW thanks David-Mae, it's good to know someone else sees my point. Again, this forum is a guide and a very good tool but at the end of the day if you file the wrong paperwork, you can't blame Visa Journey-only yourself for not using the USCIS website for the latest info.

The example form may be using an older version, but they still give you an idea about how to correcly fill the newer form, they are a GUIDE.

"11/24/06. Prior edition dated 05/23/06 will be acceptable until 02/18/07." The forms on VJ website have the November version. I filled mine out last week and is the correct version. Maybe a site blip. The admins on here are normally up to date on everything.

Oh I see where there may be an error if you attempt to fill out AN EXAMPLE FORM! That form is out od date but not the actual form to download and use for your petition.

Maybe I'm missing something, but when I got to the "downloads" tab, and then click on the form for a k-1, at the top it says it expires 1/31/2010?

Seems pretty up to date to me..........

I am a complete newbie to this site.

I went to USCIS to get all forms! No offense but I really didn't want to screw anything up at all, so I went to the source for up to the minute things I needed.

I have searched and searched and searched the net (thanks to the all knowing google) for a self help/support site to get me through this very trying time and that's exactly what I'm finding here.

Scold yourself noone else if you snagged out dated forms that are most likly just there to use as a guide!

In the end...it's your Responsibility to make sure "Your" Petition is correct.. Even using the guides it's "Your" responsibility...

.....hahahaha :D this is just too funny. I've only seen the warning to always check the USCIS site for the latest forms, once. And it stucked in my head!! I hope Epiphany would really take his/her time now to read carefully all the guides on VJ.
