I'm United States citizen and I got married in India almost two years ago on August 28,2013. Filed our case January 29th and uscis sent letter on February 3rd2014. And now I got a letter on June 8th 2015 that Nvc has completed my case but it's been two months now that I haven't received any interview letter? I'm under so much stress please can someone explain me what's going on? Also my case should come to New Delhi embassy. My lawyer says it should happen soon. Please help me.

Dear applicant, you should call nvc because u will not get an interview letter from embassy without first receiving packet 3. Call nvc, get case number and invoice ID and then check in ceac what's ur status using ur case number u got from nvc. Good luck!

This is not true. This applicant is applying for a CR1 visa and the process is different. The interview at your embassy has been taking a few months to schedule.

packet 3 is for K1s. OP is going fora CR-1 which is a somewhat different, lengthier process.

No need to contact NVC you are New Delhi I'm afraid and they are at least a 3 month wait after you get case complete.

Here is the case complete to Interview spreadsheet. The ones for India with short waits are Mumbai.

dev, new delhi suckssss on scheduling cr1 interviews. its the notoriously long wait. someone whose case completed on april 28th has interview on august 18th and she got nitified july 15th. so i think if they are keeping with that trend you are sadly still 1 (ihope not 2) month away from getting a schedule for the interview. my guess is you will get in nov, its sad and i hate this process, and wish could do something about it. sorry for your stress, i am in the same boat as you maybe in a worse situation as i am still struggling for a cc

Thank you everyone for the information:) means a lot. Nov sounds so long I wish it could be earlier. I already have a case number and I do check it online on ceac site. I call Nvc almost once week or so but all they say is that I will have to wait because they are waiting for the consulate's instructions. ? is it Nvc that schedules interview date or U.S. embassy over in India does?

My husband's interview was at New Delhi us embassy and he was given white 221g form and was asked to submit proof of arrest while he was in Australia but he was never arrested when he was in Australia. His PCC is clear. Need help please someone help me. What to do? I asked the Australian federal police they said they don't have any record of him being arrested. What documents should I submit?
