Only see a control number, passport number and a visa number in red letters. Is it the visa number?

No the A# .. starts with A

It should be listed under your name/city, state info. If there is no A # there for the K2 then they don't have one.

"A" number (Alien Registration Number) is made up of 9 digit numbers plus an A at the front and looks like this A-205-xxx-xxx. The Number can be found on your visa under your husband's name or the A number can be found on the NOA2.

My wife's K1 did not contained the A# and so you may not find it without looking at your NOA2. Same thing for the K2. Won't be on their VISA but you will find it on their NOA2.

No A# on any of the visas for the K1 or the K2s and the only A# I found was on the NOA2, do I use this only for my wife and the K2s I put none or leave blank? Called USCIS and they said it was on the passport but that was incorrect

The A# on the NOA2 belongs to your wife.

If there is none for the K2 then leave it blank, not a big deal, they will get one assigned. Even USCIS thought it was printed on the visa ...

Ok thank I'll do that. Also today we tried to get her temp drivers permit after she passed the test Saturday. When we tried to get the temp drivers permit the office said that the expiration date on the I-797 was passed and that her license would expire on 13 July, that is very soon so he called Columbus main center and they said at the end after asking quetions that she will need to have the AOS approved and a green card in hand to get the temp drivers license, does this sound correct? Also, The expired I-797 should not matter and we just got married 28 June so is she ok and won't have to worry about the 13 July on the I-94? The person at the BMV had no idea and had to call the main Columbus office so I had some serious doubts that the info was right. Thanks

Driver's license are a state by state thing. My wife got her learner's permit with her EAD card, couple months later the green card arrived in time to use with her DL. The expiration on the DL tied to the green card expiration date so had to be renewed after ROC.

Thank you for the info on the license. On part 1 information about you of the I-485 it says "in care of" would that be my wife's name? Married name I assume?

Wife's married name goes at the top (Last-First-Middle). C/O - your name there

Like Hank stated Driver's license are a state by state thing. North Carolina is pretty strict. She had a valid license through the 2 tear GC, but at time to renew at one location they would not take her 1 year extension while we are in ROC limbo. So we went to another DMV location and the extended her DL. So you just never know.

Thanks again. My wife is worried about filing adjustment of status by 13 July because that date is stamped on the passport and is on the I-94, my question is will this date matter now that we are married? I am still filling out and printing the AOS package for all 3 girls and will submit by 13 July, probably first week of July. Will this be ok?

A few weeks late is not a big problem.

Date in the passport is for getting married, not required to file AOS by that date. Relax you are fine. ;)
