Good luck everyone! (again). It seems that things are moving pretty quickly for many of us at the moment. Which is wonderful news.

We got notification that the greencard interview is now being scheduled (I am amazed how quickly)

Plus just now I checked my EAD case number and discovered:

New Card Is Being Produced On April 26, 2016, we ordered your new card and will mail it to the address you gave us.

Anyone know how long that usually takes? I wasn't expecting my EAD for another 3-4 weeks.

and then within minutes it changed to....

On April 26, 2016, we approved your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization. We will mail your approval notice.

seems back to front but all sounds good!

Indeed! I'm actually going to have to seriously get ready to find work. Bit of a shock to the system. Ha!

Yes! Look out for your approval on USCIS around May 18th. (I think!)

That could be amazing! My estimate keeps moving up - at first it was mid June, now it's saying June 1st. Keeping my fingers crossed that I can start applying for jobs soon!!

Indeed! I'll be sure to let you know just as soon as my card arrives (and interview schedules), so you can then get a clear idea of when to expect yours.

Looking at your key dates, our journeys have been VERY similar - I-129 mailing (one day different) - NOA2 (one day different) - POE (4 days different) - and you just had a longer gap before you got married, otherwise we could be starting work on the same day.

(sorry - i get very 'date-ocd-nerdy' sometimes when milestones loom...)

Yea that's a bit creepy haha! We had a minor setback with my I-94 information being incorrect and a long wait for an appointment at the courthouse otherwise we would have gotten married "way" sooner lol I nerd out over dates and such too, I think we all do here on VJ lol

We live in one of the wedding capitals of the world... so that was possibly the smoothest thing we did in the whole process. Could easily have tied the knot on the day I had landed if we had wanted to. And then, after Elvis married us, we printed our certified marriage certificate from a vending machine.

Good news all round it seems...

I had my biometrics on 11th April for I-485 and I-765 so now waiting for same...

Had a hiccup trying to get my license to drive, but after showing latest I-797 and getting a 2nd query through SAVE my licence is good for almost 1 year before renewal

My fiance's visa was issued today!

A little over 5 months after his interview finally issued!

He's tracking his passport and it was mailed today and he should receive it tomorrow or the day after and we'll book a flight immediately. I can't wait ))))))))

Now I have to catch up on what all you guys did after arriving. It's been so long I've already forgotten all the steps.
