We've just received a RFE also. With a long list of very specific things they find not supporting the marriage. I just dont know what to do now. A lot of thing I cannot provide and can only give explanation as to why. Time to dig deep into RFE threads. Do you think I should hire a lawyer? We did not want to spend a lot of money so we prepared all document ourselves. Now maybe we need one.

I too got an RFE and responded a week now,my list was a generic list. They havent made a decision as yet, hopefully soon.

Just recheck and see exactly what you sent and see if you had missed anything.

thank you all,my RFE was a generic one, insurance ,birth certificate of any children born in the marriage, bank statement, properties own, bills paid together, credit card statements etc.

I had already sent in our least, bills paid seperate example,I paid the cable and internet,my husband the light and water.I explain that in florida only one persons's name is allowed on the bill,I had sent in bank and credit card statements but only the first page,so I sent in all of the pages from our marriage started.every single pages of the statements down to march of 2016.I sent in copies of our bank, credit and insurance card, letter from my son's school addressing us.Enevelops addressing both of us at our address, copies of our ids.no birth certificate as we have no kids from our marriage, and we sent in tax transcript from 2012 to 2015 as we had only sent in the regular tax return.
