If the address they have on file is your parents address in Georgia, then that is where the welcome letter will be sent. It will NOT be emailed to you.

USCIS has approved the petition on 19.05.2015.

I am trying to call the NVC on the phone to get my case # and IIN , but always it says all customer service representative are busy, try again later.

Does any know how to get these 2 numbers ?

Regards,

yes its a very busy line . you just have to keep calling. best times everyone said to call is early in the morning they open at 7 and late at night they close at midnight. try to call around those times. but you will be hitting the redial button a lot but just keep trying..

once you get those 2 numbers give them your email address everything is so much better when they have your email address because they email you when things are ready and the next step is needed. and giving them your email address you don't have to wait for anything in the mail!! it gets to you fast. so try your best to contact them so they can respond through emails. seeing your case got there 5.19 and its usually 40 days for them to assign a case # your in good timing to start calling.

good luck!

they may not send you anything. unfortunately you need to try and call them at 6amEST (might be 7am EST)to get a person on the phone when they first open up. Thats how I got ours. The line is always busy but if you call first thing I've had no issue getting thru to them.

Good luck

Pick your agent, and pay the AOS fee.

Get your AOS/IV package ready to go using your welcome letter checklist....

As soon as you get your AOS fee paid receipt...send the package in. Do NOT wait for the IV fee. It is not necessary to use two envelopes. I bound all documents together by two hole punching the top and then using an ACCO binder.

Pay IV fee. If IV fee is not opening, call NVC to ask them review then Choice of Agent form over the phone.

Fill out 260.

If you are not with your spouse, send originals and various documents to your spouse in UAE for spouse's interview

Wait for CC.

Wait for interview to be scheduled.

When interview is scheduled, get your medical, prepare updated financial evidence, collect various documents requested by the interview letter, and send to spouse if necessary.

Go to interview.

If approved, pick up visa in 4-7 days

Pay the ELIS fee.

Come to USA.

Go to SSA office to insure generation of SSN.

10 year green card should arrive in 1-3 months via email.

After three years, you can apply for citizenship if you want.

Good luck!

Thank you so much, i will start one by one :)

and me ( the beneficiary ) and my wife ( the American citizen ) are living in UAE :)

The main problem she didn't work for more than 3 years and she hasn't file any tax record, and she doesn't how to do that :( so we gonna search online ..

I assume you either have enough assets or a joint sponsor for the AOS. She should just write a a letter explaining that she has not worked in the past three years.

hi i am new to the visa journey page

Married on May 18, 2012

filed an i 30 and have the interview for the visa at the usa embassy in united arab emirates on september 12th

little nervous about the stories for the interview. we got a hotel for the night before that is non refundable, and then i read where they cancel some interviews because they are overbooked. so i praying they still hold my interview date.

When i have to call the usa nvc i always call them at around usa central time 11 pm. otherwise they will be busy with calls before that.
