fiance/petitioner letter of intent

Using the form on this site for the fiance letter of intent, I noticed a small detail that almost led me to make a mistake. The form online if for the alien fiance, so it say you inted to marry within 90 days "my arrival."

But if the USC is filling it out it should be changed to MY arrival.

Did anyone else notice this? Or am I making some kind of mistake.

I, USC, do hereby state that I am legally able and willing to marry Alien, and intend to do so within 90 days of HIS/HER arrival into the US using the K-1 visa.

I, Alienb], do hereby state that I am legally able and willing to marry USC, and intend to do so within 90 days of MY arrival into the US using the K-1 visa.

Your right. The form should be drafted as MY/HER/HIS arrival.

Many forms here have mistakes in them. If you look at the I-129f it has "other" checked for form to file with and below it has "naturalization" checked.

 The copies of all my forms are at home and I can't remember if I changed that or not. Surely they would overlook a simple mistake like that. At least I hope so. Thanks for the heads up though.

Yes. Keep in mind that you EACH write a letter of intent.

8-30-05 Met David at a restaurant in Germany

3-28-06 David 'officially' proposed

4-26-06 I-129F mailed

9-25-06 Interview: APPROVED!

10-16-06 Flt to US, POE Detroit

11-5-06 Married

7-2-07 Green card received

9-12-08 Filed for divorce

12-5-08 Court hearing - divorce final

A great marriage is not when the "perfect couple" comes together.

It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.

Some people are perfect candidates for Direct Consular Filing. Their counsular will happily do everything for them and get the his/her/me/my just right so no thinking is required and leave them with only his/her bill to complain about.

These are EXAMPLES and should be adjusted accordingly.

As for the error on the I-129F. It IS an error in that particular version of the form. Not a mistake on the part of myself who happened to submit that particular example form.
