SSN: another form of valid ID (K1 Visa from the Philippines)

Hi, guys! We're in the process of applying for an SSN. Based on the requirements it says:

another form of valid ID (as defined in the SS-5 instructions)

What other valid ID would they accept besides my passport if I come from the Philippines. I have my NBI clearance, birth certificate, SSS (or multi-purpose ID).Thanks in advance.

K1 visa timeline - 10/10/2014 - NOA1 > 11/14/2014 - NOA2 > 12/12/2014 - MNL Case# > 02/5-6/2015 - Medical exam > 03/12/2015 - Interview, Approved (Thank God!) > 03/12/2015 CEAC created // 3-17-2015 (AP)  >  3-18-2015 (ISSUED) > 03/23/2015 - visa in-hand > 03/30/2015 - CFO sticker > 05/11/2015 - POE, SFO > 06/20/2015 - Got married!
AOS timeline - 6/26/2015 - applied for SS card (in my MAIDEN name) > 7/6/2015 - received SS card in the mail > 7/3/2015 - Sent AOS packet > 7/14/2015 - Got confirmation text/email from USCIS > 7/20/2015 - Received NOAs for I-485 & I-765 > Aug. 2015 - Received EAD > Mar. 2016 Received conditional GC (no interview) expires March 2018

GC (ROC) timeline

Jan. 25, 2018 Submitted I-751 paperwork to remove GC conditions > Feb. '18 Received I-797 > Mar. '18 Received appointment for bio-metrics / biometrics done.

Thanks, GB! How about the "report of marriage" to the Philippine embassy, I googled and came across this site:http://www.philippineembassy-usa.org/philippines-dc/consular-services-dc/faq-dc/#marriage

Would the instructions here suffice and is there a deadline for report of marriage?

If Wash DC is your consult then it is the one I used. Follow their steps and you should be alright. We had no problems.

There's no deadline for reporting a marriage. Chinook and I finally reported our marriage when Chinook reacquired her Filipino citizenship. At the same time, she applied for a new Filipino passport under her married name. Reporting our marriage was required for completing this process.

One thing I would add to the linked instructions is that, even though you can report your marriage by mail, the other business requires a personal appearance. Chinook and I attended one of the Consulate's outreach events in our city and completed everything at once. It saved us a trip to San Francisco.

One thing I would add to the linked instructions is that, even though you can report your marriage by mail, the other business requires a personal appearance. Chinook and I attended one of the Consulate's outreach events in our city and completed everything at once. It saved us a trip to San Francisco.

DC will not process passport without ROM and the two can't be processed at the same time, but LA Consult will do both at the same time. Always check your consult before venturing out.

Only one document is required for evidence of identity with a picture- your passport. Then you need to print out a copy of your I-94. And for evidence of age bring a copy of your birth certificate

1. passport

2. visa foil glued inside of passport

then bring the i-94.

got a birth certificate, you say? they will review it !

Your Philippines passport will have you US issued visa in it with your picture.

This should count as two ID's.

it does ! one issued by pi gov, another issued by usa gov. it's sweet, i tell ya, sweet !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
