Hi everyone,

My wife is adjusting her status based on marriage. We had our interview yesterday and it all went well. We were hoping that we would be approved and get a stamp on our passport right away so she can travel next week to her home country. Since we don't know when her GC will be approved she would like to apply for an Advance Parole by using an Info Pass. Two questions:

-Let's say her case is approved within a week, can she travel once it shows that her AOS is approved? will she be denied at POE without having a GC on hand?

-If she goes to her info pass appointment, will she be given the AP right then or will she need to wait approval? what's the experience from someone else?

-Assuming she gets approved next week, can she still use that info pass appt to get a stamp on her passport to be able to travel?

I guess these are my options for her to travel right away. Any other ideas or feedback is appreciated.

thanks

What is the emergency?

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
