We just received a notice of potential interview waiver case!

Am I the only one that is super excited??

I had a really bad experience on my k1 interview. So I won't have to deal with this again!! Even my husband! That's soooo amazing!!!

Its can be good in some ways. From what ive been reading here recently, seem people who get the waiver end up waiting a year or more for their green card and also possibly have to submit a new medical. I am 100% sure, i hope someone with experience can tell you more. Good luck and I really hope you wont have to wait a long time for your GC.

AOS Date Filed : 2015-05-27

Got rejection notice on May 29, 2015 for an incomplete application

Receive rejected application on June 6, 2015

Resubmit June 8, 2015

Delivered June 9, 2015

NOA Date : 2015-06-16

Bio. Appt. : 2015-07-06

EAD and AP Approved Date : 2015-08-14

Date Combo Card Received : 2015-08-21 (Received my card about 6hrs apart on the same day they sent an e-mail that they shipped my card).

Receive Potential Interview Waiver Letter: September 9, 2015 sigh!!
AOS Approved without interview 2015-10-08 :dancing: :dancing: :dancing: :star: 3 MONTHS AND 22 DAYS AFTER NOA1 (F)

The truth is .. I don't care to wait even years. I have the EAD as an ID. I can get my drivers license. I already study for the board exams as a realtor. So I'm fine!

Well good for you. Wish you all the best. I dont really care that much either! I was only trying to give my little knowledge of getting a interview wavier. Your drivers license will be good only for one year, then you have to renew, its also possible you will ended up having to renew your EAD again before getting your GC and also you may eventually have to do an interview. Be sure to pass your board exam.

We also got a waiver in December. We just received our approval today. GC is coming in 3 weeks. So it's really 6 months like they said in their waiver letter. We were worried that we had to wait a year like many people here.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

I go the potential waiver yesterday for my girl.

I see this as a good thing and she has her AOS/AP so no biggie.

This is my second time filing AOS for a person, a few years ago they issued conditional greencard after a few months filing AOS on K1.

I like having another 6 months before actual GC is issued, I can see this being a good thing for some couples.........

I also received a letter this morning stating that I may get an interview waiver. That means I should have my green card by December with a little luck. I am so happy, as I was worried about going for the interview.
