Request for additional Evidence

Hi,

We have received a notification for additional Evidence required. We don't know what this is yet, just waiting for the letter. Did anyone else get this? How long did you wait for your letter telling you what it was?

What were the reasons for this? Is this common?

It's been a long 7 months, I just want to be with my fiancé....

Any offerings of information would be greatly appreciated.

You'll get the RFE letter in about a week. The one I got (after 6-7 months) was because I didn't sign a paper :-)
Then perhaps about 2 weeks later you'll get your NOA2 :-)

It does, thank you. When did this happen to you? Was it long ago? I'm getting so worked up about it, just want everything to be ok.

RFEs are common and nothing to get worked up about. Hopefully it's something simple that can be remedied easily. Good luck

It means you came up to the top of the pile where somebody is finally working on your case. That is the good news part of an RFE.

I received my Rfe on May 19 email notification received the letter on May 26 The Rfe was for the intent to marry for my fiance I forgot that . Luckily on my trip I had him sign the letter. Sent back rfe on May 27 . Received approval on June 12 waiting for hard copy.
