Hello everyone!

My interview was on May 15th but I didn't get my passport/visa back yet. Tomorrow will be 7 weeks since my interview. Still waiting! :(

Have you tried contacting the embassy through phone and email explaining the situation? Did you by any chance receive a slip advising more documentation etc?

On June 30th status was changed for " Issued ", made me feel very happy but still no email from Loomis express yet, I hope to get email tomorrow or next week. I called to NVC they said all problem with technical issue..

I am not sure how the procedure is w.r.t. obtaining a tracking number. I am assuming you'd receive an email/sms. If the notification is received through email, then the only advise I can give is to check if the notification accidentally went into your spam folder or else you'd just have to wait I believe.

Even, I am still waiting for a notification, my status is still AP though.

It can take up to 5 business days to get an email from Loomis with the waybill#. And today the Montreal consulate is closed so loomis won't be picking up anything.

You'll most likely hear something back next week.

Thank you svb for your advice! Today my status was updated and says ..

Your visa is in final processing. If you have not received it in more than five (5) working days, please go to http://usvisa-info.com/en-CA/selfservice/us_courrier_informationto track your courier waybill.

Interesting why US consulate in Montreal don't work today, I was hoping that Loomis will contact to me. I hope it will not take too long, hopefully next week sometime! I think my situation was longest, I am tired of waiting, 7 weeks is a lot!!

Wish to everyone to get passport/visa back as fast as possible!

Jayjayhas, I am very happy for you! Congratulations!!!!

Did ur message say issued and then it says

Your visa case is currently undergoing necessary administrative processing. This processing can take several weeks. As the officer told you in the interview, if further information is needed, you will be contacted. If your visa application is approved when administrative processing is finished, you will receive notification to collect the passport with the visa from the Loomis branch you selected when you booked your appointment.

Or did it say u should receive it in 5 days?
