When filing I-485 - do I use my wifes maiden name, or her married name?

Married name from this point forward. I'm sure you have officially changed it as that's what's on your marriage certificate, right?

Passport has nothing to do with I-485.

No but if not changing passport international travel could become bothersome

Whichever name she is going to be using from this point onwards - be that her married name or maiden name.

If the name she will be using differs from the name on her passport she simply needs to carry a copy of her marriage certificate documenting the change; it's not really a big deal.

If you prefer married name and would like to renew wife's Philippine passport into married name as well, you should file a Report of Marriage Contracted Abroad at the Philippine Consulate in your area.

NOTE TO WIFE: follow the traditional Filipino way of using married name.
