Just checked the app (which I've been doing several times a day, of course) and was pleasantly surprised to find that we are approved!!! I-131 says "Approved" and I-765 says "New Card Is Being Produced." Does anyone happen to know if it is possible to make a call and request to pick it up in person? We have to travel soon and I'm concerned we won't receive it in the mail in enough time....

Pick up in person would be a good option, we should have this option instead of waiting for it comes by mail.

Yeah, that's what I'm worried about - 14 days is too long as we are supposed to leave in 9. :(

Yeah, then try to pick it up if it's possible, cause according to statistic it takes around that time, sometimes even longer:(

Some guys with approval date June 27 and 28 just got their card today August 11. Looks like it will take 14-15 days to receive it. They should send it by priority mail instead of slow like first class mail. hmmm

Are you going to use AP while traveling?

We (well, my husband) will need it to get back in to the US after we are done. I don't know if it's kosher to have someone check our mail and send it to us while we are away as I'm guessing it will arrive shortly after we are supposed to leave (if it doesn't miraculously arrive before we have to go!).

arghhhhh! keeping my fingers tightly crossed that the card production process is extra speedy! :)

Thank you, I hope to get approved our case soon.

It is normal to get an interview appointment , and this is a good sign, cause those people you get waiver have to wait very long time to get their green card without interview and all because their local offices are very busy...

Good luck, and congrats!

Congrats on all of the approvals.!!! and the interview for AOS is good news..at least for me. I have a feeling I'll get an interview waiver because the New York field office is always busy!!! AHHH I hope I get an interview. I can not imagine waiting 1 year for my husband to get his green card. Anyways Congrats.

Still waiting for my husbands approval since NOA1 is June 17th
