Jamaica: Interview takes place in front of window on phone?

Hi all!

Can someone who has interviewed confirm what actually happens during the K1 interview at the embassy?

I was told that my fiance will have his "interview" standing up while talking to the CO on a phone through a glass window at a counter. Is this correct information?

Its usually a long those lines for all embassy's.

I was shocked to find that out my self unfortunately it true and the worst park about it everyone can hear your conversation.

Its your tone of voice why people can hear you. Either way people will know the results cause they can see whats happening, and if the CO gave back their passport or not. Anyway, you arrive at the embassy and give your name and appoinment number, you will be sent in through security check, you enter the embassy building, they are receptionist that will take you DS-160 confirmation sheet and give you and number, then you go through another door and will be directed to your right where you will be seated until your number is call.. Only people who enter the embassy applying for a non immigrant visa such a a visitor visa have to stand in a long line, they will be standing left of where u will be seated and still if u listen closely u will hear their number call and even hear some people answering question that the CO ask. at no time you will be standing for more than 5 minutes at the window unless they are alot of question to be asked that arise from you case.

Ok so it does happen like that. I thought he'd be in a room with a door and seated.

My nephew says it was not private, he could use the

phone or not, some pones did not work properly, but

phone or not the other ppl sit at a attention & listen as

there's somewhat a PA system echo that comes from

the CO....a person interviewed in the private room would

be for a U or T visa being returned to the US (special

cases)
