Well just yesterday at my 46/30 days, i was so stupid because i waited till yesterday. I was hoping to get cc with the reg timiline, i thought it was automatically after 30 days??

Don't be too hard on yourself - the truth is that going on supervisor review is not up to you, and it didn't happen just because you called. They put me on supervisor review without informing me, on day 39/30.

Back in UK i used to work in a Immigration Law Firm. I think getting a visa is much easier in the UK. U don't have to go through so many things for this process. All u need to do is filling up the form, attach all supporting documents & payment together with the form and just sent it to the Home Office. In 2 weeks time you will receive a letter for the Biometric Enrolment and thats it. it will take a month or two and u will receive ur visa or a refusal. Still we were not happy about this. But now???

Too many processes for US visas. USCIS, NVC, AOS, IV, DS261, DS260, I864, I864a, Supervisor review, Checklist, Scan Date, CC, Interview Schedule, Interview, AP, POE.

OMG!!! Seriously ?

My only consolation is that we are almost at the end of this journey. Even saying I have maybe three months left before I can be with my husband sounds so much better than being told at the beginning of the process that it's going to take 12-18 months. I feel so sad for people who are just starting out here when they find out just what's involved and how long they will have to be apart. I'm just praying that our supervisor review ends in a CC and not a checklist.

Hi folks! May I ask about the form i-864ez under #18 and #19. Would that be ok if the amount on my individual annual income is currently $$$ same amount on the federal income tax most recent year 2014.

Do i need a US police certificate if i was in the US on a visitors visa for 4 months?

I have no criminal record in the US.

No police certificates from US needed.

Second question, do i write down my case number on EVERYTHING except the cover sheet? Even all pages of the I-864?

Yes, you should. EVERY single page, excluding the bar-coded cover sheet and cover letter (if you send one).

Would that be ok to put the same amount for current annual income and most recent year adjusted gross income? We are using i-864ez. It's in the #18 and #19.,

Let say the adjusted gross income for the year 2014 amounting to $35k, would that be ok to put the same figure on the blank for "my current annual income?" Thanks.

Condolences to you and your husband - sad news. So much harder to deal with when we are not where we need/want to be.

What's your SD? Have you even been able to send in your AOS and IV packet yet?

Thank you, I can't stop the tears. It's been really hard

We were told to send in the AOS and IV docs which we did, SD 5/27

So far we have DS261, SD. And that's it. IV bill not issued, AOS bill paid but showing as unpaid.

Thank you so much Saylin!!!!

Our joint sponsor sent us his tax return forms from his own records not the transcripts. They are about 15-20 pages each. Do i send all those pages? He is self employed so they include 1040s and a lot of other stuff also schedule A,B,C and E. So do i just send the 15 pages for 2012 and 2013 ? or am i supposed to filter out specific pages?

Will sending all the pages delay my case?

Well, until quite recently, going into supervisor review meant you could expect CC within a few days from that, but lately, I don't know what's going on with the NVC - maybe a whole lot more applications than usual - but it seems to be taking a bit longer than that. I don't think you should worry about it either way. I've been in supervisor review for 10 days now and still nothing, but I'm not going to get all upset about it anymore. I'm just going to find something else to do while I wait for CC. It WILL come, for all of us, it's just a matter of time :)
