Hello guys, today i received my EAD. I already have a driver license because i was a F-1 therefore i was able to get one, the only thing is that it has "Temporary" printed on it. If i get a SSN can i go at the DMV to request a non temporary Driver License?

Thank you!

Probably not.

DL based on EAD should expire with EAD

Hard to say. I assume all states have their own rules, but likely it would still only be temporary. My MN license says it doesn't expire until 2019, but there is a little note at the bottom that saying I need to verify my status before the date my EAD expires in order to keep it valid.

Your question is state-specific. My wife received the two-year conditional green card last year and her Washington, DC driver license says "Temporary" as well.
