B1/B2 Visa 221(g) asked for Family card

Hi everyone,

My parents in law went to their interview for B2 visa and they got the 221(g) form. in that document they asked for "Family Card".

I just wanted to know what is that? and how can we get that Family Card?

Huh! I have no idea. I've never heard of a 'family card'. Under what context was it suggested? Is your family of an ethnic descent where a 'family card' is typically used?

Are your in-laws native French citizens? if so, why are they applying for a B2 tourist visa rather than use the Visa Waiver program?

If they are not native French citizens, where are they from? Some countries, such as China, have little booklets with lineages and residences listed that may be called a Family Card.
