I am petitioning for my husband to come to the States (Florida), he is born/breed Canadian from Ontario. We are also at Nebraska (NOA1 June 1st). If you could keep us posted as to when you receive your NOA2 that would be awesome. We are only a few days away from your NOA1, so here's to a speedy process to all!!! Best of luck! :)

I think there processing time on website is very accurate and they update it every month. I checked other peoples timeline for nebraska it does take roughly 5 months for approval. It is very rare that people are approved before 4 months. Usually they are approving people a week or 2 before 5 months. Me and you shoukd hear around the sametime as mine and your prority dates are same. :-)

After reading tons of threads I think national visa center is the worst. From what I read you have to keep calling them or they tend to forget about you. Hope everyone gets to be with spouse soon. Praying for everyone

I guess USCIS and NVC has it''s own drawbacks.. and even at the interview.

At USCIS waiting is the KEY, We don't really have any power to speed up the process (except during an emergency then requesting for an expedite which is rare). Doing nothing makes us feel helpless and we really don't know what to expect for that long period of time. At NVC we are busied filing out forms and making calls, some of us may find that better than doing nothing and willingly take part, in hopes of speeding up the process.
