My fiancée and I are planning on doing a JP (Justice of the Peace) and an informal reception for mostly friends. Then going to Thailand and doing to traditional Thai weeding in a year or so. I have always thought destination weddings were amazing and since she is from Thailand it works. Plus we would like her family to be able to attend.

Is it possible to get a RFE or get denied on your interview if you only flew once but stayed for three weeks to be with your Fiancé? I'm getting worried .. :(

We only met once and stayed 2 weeks together and received our NOA2 with no issues or RFE.

Just make sure you have enough proof of meeting (air and hotel receipts, baggage claim check, boarding passes, visa stamps, tour receipts etc ...) and we submitted 8 pictures and some with family. Good Luck !

Everything I've read said that's not an issue as long as you meet the basic requirement of actually meeting within 2 years.

We've only been together twice, 1 for a week in the U.S. 1 for just 3 days in South Africa. I did include a pic with my mom just to show family involvement. And I included receipts and pictures from all the places we went.

hi everyone just wanna ask for those may fillers does anyone here recieve their NOA2 ? I'm just curious and excited ,thnkz

As far as Igor's list shows, I don't think anyone has yet. It would also seem that the California center is slowing down as a result of many petitions being transferred to them or directed to them away from the Texas and Vermont centers. Even more telling is no one from May has received an RFE yet either. Chin up.

My fiance and I are about to submit our K1 Visa Petition to USCIS. We want to ask if my fiance (the petitioner) need to disclosed his arrest records in the past. He had no convictions. The first one was dismissed and the second one he was given "Withheld Adjudication" and served probation which he completed. We know that the USCIS will do a background check on him. Is it necessary to disclosed the arrest records or should we just let them find out on their own since there were only arrest made and no convictions?
