I've been told to call again next week. I should still go to the interview prepared.

... I really hope this isn't a glitch.

I know your husband is next, before the end of the year :)

I hope he doesn't get an interview, don't care how long, just want the interview waiver letter. :)

If USCIS aren't going to schedule an actual AOS Interview and just mail a NPIW letter, does the case status online update to show a change or does it remain unchanged?

I got a NPIW for my AOS and my status only changed to "approved". Nothing before that but the "fingerprint fee received" status. Check out my TL or signature for dates. :)

So, I can finally stop worrying.. I received an interview letter beginning of the month, 10 days later I received an e-mail notification that my card was being produced (4 weeks before the scheduled interview), USCIS told me that I should disregard it since it's would probably be an error.

Well today, thanks to the lady at the senator's office (she helped us with our K1visa @TSC and my AOS) I learned that my AOS was indeed approved. In the e-mail she received from USCIS it said:

'...this case was approved at the Omaha Field Office on ... It was determined that an interview was not necessary for adjudication of this case so (me)'s interview was descheduled and the case was sent to the Omaha Field Office for review and adjudication. X will receive her Permanent Resident card in approximately 2 weeks..... it will be sent by secure mail ...'

My timeline is up-to-date; I received my EAD after 5months and GC after 6months since filing. I never thought I would be done with all this after only 6months and 2 RFE.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone !!

Timeline

Congrats!
