Hi everybody, I (F1 visa holder) and My husband (USC) recently got married. We've finished with most paperwork, but we are stacked with I-864. We are 21 years old, my husband never filed TAX because he was not required. He started working this February, 2015 and his income is over Proverty Guideline, 125%. Since they ask for past 3 years old tax return, we stated why he didn't file any tax/ attached W2 form/ employment letter/3 pay stubs.

I was wondering if its better if we should get a joint sponsor..

is it enough stating that he never had to file taxes, reason why and attach all these documents?

thank you!

mei

You can explain why he has never filed tax. Current income is what matters. Include job contract, at least 6 pay stubs, w2, employer letter stating his current income... Without them, rfe can been seen on the way.
