...and we haven't heard anything yet. Yes, we filled out the form to receive email and text notifications. Yes, we registered on the USCIS site. Yes, we sent it to the Dallas lockbox address from Ohio.

Sigh. Already a snag? Has it taken this long for anyone else just to get the ball rolling?

Even if you used a money order, the money order provider should be able to tell you if it cleared. I checked my money order and it had not cleared when I started to get a little nervous, but that evening, I received the text that it was received. Let us know because we want you to get your journey started! Hopefully it's a smooth one for you!

We're happy it landed in CSC too, but we're planning the move in October regardless of how quickly it goes. Actually October or later; I have too many things to take care of here before I take off. First and foremost is selling my home, which feels insurmountable to me. Being by myself... it's intimidating, especially since the house needs work.
