My husband is affraid of the "Interview"

My husband is worried about the interview step at the embassy. I am sure the questions vary with each individuals situation but to help him relax a little what could be some possible interview questions? Maybe someone here has already done this step. Having never done this we are both clueless.

My wife has expressed her own concerns and fear for the interview. It did not help that she was denied for a visitor visa. I would recommend reading the reviews for the embassy in your husband's country. You will find that many, if not most, have positive experiences there. I tell my wife three things: they are looking for fraud (which of course we are not), we have plenty of evidence supporting our marriage, and that I trust God will be with us the whole way through.

Thats more or less what I have told him. Since we are a legitimate couple and if he answers all questions truthfully there shouldnt be a problem. But like I said having never done this I am just guessing. I wish I could give him a few examples of possible questions.

Generic questions usually seen are such as when did you guys get married, where, how did you guys meet, where he took you on dates, kids if any birthdays and such, your birthday, what you do as a job, where you live, they can maybe get more specific one never knows how crazy they can get maybe it can go into religion if you are the same if not how you/him feel about it, just questions about you mainly, could asks for dates and duration of visits, honeymoon where and when, vacations where and when . Maybe parents names ? I doubt it but you never know . You could probably Google typical spouse visa interview questions and find the generic usual ones .

Thank you so much! I didnt even think of checking google. That was a huge help with lots and lots of examples. He feels much better now that he knows more or less what type of questions they might ask.

I was asked when and how I met my husband, what branch of the military he is in, his job title and the date of our wedding. That's it! The CO was really nice and even made jokes with my husband about his passport photograph on our application!
