Hi guys. I've been following this thread for a while now. Decided to post today and let you know that my USCIS status was updated and it says petition has been approved. I hope you guys get yours soon! thank you everyone. I learned a lot from this forum!! :D will update you guys as soon as I see any changes. :D

btw, my NOA 1 is 4/17/15

What is the mobile app y'all use?

9/4/2014 - Met online to practice language together.
10/5/2014 - Officially became a couple after tons of time talking and flirting. *laughs*
12/26/2014 - First meeting in Atlanta. Spent close to 2 weeks together.
02/16/2015 - Second meeting. I went to Mexico City for an amazing week and met her mom and sisters. Saw lucha libre CMLL at Arena México with her on my birthday that week! Obvious keeper! *laughs*
03/29/2015 - Third meeting. Proposed at The airport in Atlanta. Spent an amazing two weeks together.
04/16/2015 - Sent I-129F.
04/28/2015 - WE RECIEVED OUR NOA1 DATED 04/21/2015!!!!!

5/21/2015 - NOA 2 (online)
6/12/2015 - Called NVC. Received case number!

7/3/2015 - Recieved interview letter.

7/11/2015 - Fourth meeting (Atlanta). ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE AND REALLY FUN. Saw Fall Out Boy and did lots of fun stuff juntos!

8/6/2015 - Scheduled interview for 9/11/2015

9/9/2015 - Fifth Meeting. Flew to Mexico City, spent an amazing week in Mexico with her and family.

9/10/2015 - Flew to Juarez together and spent two amazing days there.

9/11/2015 - APPROVED AT INTERVIEW IN JUAREZ!!!!! :dancing:

I have an android - using Playstore - and I downloaded the - USCIS Case status Notifier app.

Hope this helps :)

I hope they approve mine soon.. Mine was received on the 28th of April :clock:

They seem to have a lot of computer problems lately.

A week ago our case status changed to "document was returned to USCIS".

Of course we called and they said we can ignore it, it's a computer glitch. I really hope it is...

Really that is strange, cause I read somewhere that whenever someone gets this error, USCIS couldn't deliver something to your address, like hard copies or something. :huh:

It works.. What it does is it pulls the information right from the website.

What you have to do is once you install it - at the bottom you will see some tabs - the first one says Home, the next one says My Cases. Click on - My Cases

Then at the top corner you will see a Green + and under it will say - Add case - click on that - and then you will add your receipt number and click save.

Then your case will be added to your case tab.

Then all you have to do is just go into your - My Cases tab and click on your case and it will connect to the USCIS website and bring up your case status.

I check mine a lot throughout the day.

AOS Journey

12/09/2015 - USCIS Received

12/13/2015 - Received 3 texts confirming receipt

12/17/2015 - Received Hard Copy

01/07/2016 - Biometrics completed

That's what I thought.. And that's why we called but they said nope status is still "pending" and we don't have to worry about it.

Maybe we should call again. Seems a little weird to me too!

K1 visa process:

06/01/2013: first met

03/29/2014: started dating

12/31/2014: "engaged"

04/14/2015: sent the package

04/17/2015: NOA 1 (CSC)

05/11/2015: "document returned to USCIS" (NOA1 hardcopy)

05/13/2015: called USCIS

05/28/2015: e-mail: they will mail the NOA1 hardcopy again

06/01/2015: NOA 2 !!

06/06/2015: NOA 2 hard copy

06/08/2015: NOA 1 hard copy (finally...)

06/25/2015: embassy received electronical file

07/16/2015: embassy received physical file

07/17/2015: embassy sent pack 3

currently: waiting for pack 3

Myrie, you probably have the same problem I do with the app since you have the validation error. On the app I get Receipt Number Not Recognized. I think once they move on our cases it will probably work. I kind of feel like I'm in a black hole right now though.

The minimum income for fiancee visa is 19, 900 USD. that is 125% of the poverty level. That is what required.

We only made 16,500 USD.

How much assets do we need to make up for the 3,400 short on income???

Did you check if it is also 19.900 USD for the state that you live in?

And I read somewhere that like 6000 USD in cash assets is required in order to make up for every 1000 USD you are lacking in income....

I may be wrong but isn't the initial I-134 set at 100%? I think I read somewhere that the 125% is when you adjust status after you're married?
