I am a 23 year old man who just received his green card through Adjustment of Status (K1 visa -> marriage). I am a conditional permanent resident at the moment.

Most likely you have been already registered, but I would call anyways to make sure it is active in the system.

My husband was automatically enrolled but somehow, it was not active in the system. He received a card/letter saying he was registered once his AOS was approved. We only found out it wasn't active when he was applying for a federal student loan and they told him he was eligible as he wasn't registered. Once he called his status changed and he received a new letter/card with the date showing back to when his AOS was approved.
