Just FYI for everyone interviewing in Montreal... I emailed them questioning whether or not I (the petitioner) am allowed to attend the interview with my husband. They responded the following:

The petitioner is not required to attend the interview. However, American Citizens are allowed to accompany applicants if space constraints permit and they bring their U.S. passport. Also, as part of our security procedures, all backpacks, bags, luggage, or large purses are prohibited inside the U.S. Consulate. Any visitor who refuses to follow these security procedures is prohibited from entering the Consulate facilities.

If you have time , I would get a new one. My passport photos were 7 months old, I did not take a chance and got new ones the day before my interview. I was not giving them any excuse to request more information. That's just my 2 cents. Congrats on the interview date!! You are almost done. YEAH!

Just got off the phone with NVC. Interview is scheduled for June 25th at 7am in Islamabad, Pakistan.

I know! I felt the same way, but I was glad I did. The guy at the photo place recognizes me now, he must have thought I was crazy. I made two copies of everything as well, even though I did not need them. It's better to be overprepared. I know the police charge an extra $36 for the "while you wait", but better than having to go and get a new one after the interview. Go over the photos Saylin has on her timeline and there is a post of how to organize docs in clear plastic folders. I prepared several weeks ahead and went through everything many times. lol I was and still am crazy. Too bad for the lady that tried to push in front of me inline. haha, I was first and I was going to stay that way. 13 months of waiting does something to your brain.

I got a letter from NVC expedite office stating this: "Any further questions concerning processing or the interview appointment date should be directed to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate General."

Does this mean I can not under any circumstance contact the NVC to inquire about my interview date?

Hi Guys, an update from my side as well. Below the details

Interview email: 4/27/2015

Interview date: June 17th 2015!!

Embassy: Mumbai India

But I have a concern now, My nick name was used in the wedding album and the nick name is not mentioned in any valid documents and I have not specified in the DS 260(any other names used). My Marriage invitation letter has the proper names, but the album and photos has nick name displayed. Can anyone suggest how to manage this. Thanks

When they ask other names you are known as a nickname is not what they are asking for. Other names you are legally known as that you had either had legal ID or something. My nickname since I was 11 has been Wheels but it is not listed on my documents its not a legal name. So please don't be concerned that all your wedding stuff has your nick name if asked just tell them oh my friends call me by my nickname.

Im not sure if I can edit but I eventually got through to NVC and was told to contact the embassy. Once I get the date I'll post it here so that it can be added to the spreadsheet.

Last week Thursday I filed a expedite request (medical reasons) for the Kingston embassy as i saw there were individuals with 3/13 CC's still waiting for interviews. My CC was 4/9, I received an email that my expedite request was under review. I did see yesterday that many people received interview dates for Kingston. I have heard some say that requesting an expedite can sometimes delay your case, just wondering if anyone has ever heard the same?

Congratulations on the case Complete. I have added you to the spreadsheet. And yes I have seen an expedite request slow down a persons process and others get scheduled and they not. When we told them not to do it. DR are a few I can remember

Yahoooooooo...!!!! Interview scheduled at 9th june at Islamabad Embassy confirmed by making telephone call to NVC..so CC was 04-09-2015....and interview set at 28th April....after 19 days wait......i m hoping that NVC scheduled interviews for all Pakistanees....Guys don't waste time call and confirm it...!!!
