Today has been 11 days since they received our package and nothing. No NOA or payment taken.

It seems like everyone that sent their package to the Vermont Service Center starting on 04/07 haven't gotten NOA1 neither payment taken.

Like someone else said it makes me feel a little better that I'm not the only one. Good thing we have this community here. :)

I guess they are maybe having problems, or maybe a high volume of packages. I wonder what is going on.

Same here. My application was received the 10th and so far I have received nothing and the check hasn't been cashed yet either.

I was worrying on why they seemed to be taking so long to reply to my case but I see I'm not the only one. Wondering what's going on since everything seemed to be going smoothly for the ones who filed in the previous weeks.

05/04/15 - NOA1 arrived (date on NOA 04/13/15)

05/05/15 - Check cashed ($590.00)

05/21/15 - Biometrics appointment letter received

05/28/15 - Early Walk-in biometrics appointment (original appointment 06/04/15)

02/10/16 - ROC approved

Just guessing, but it's spring break week, maybe whoever checks the packages and cashes the checks in VSC is on vacation this week???? Hopefully things will start moving again next week :)

Timeline:

Dec 31st 2011- I-129F sent
August 2nd 2012- INTERVIEW- APPROVED
August 10th 2012- Visas received
August 21st 2012- P.O.E Boston!

September 11th 2012- Applied for SSN.
September 16th 2012- MARRIED!!!
September 17th 2012- Received SSN.
October 26th 2012- Sent off AOS forms.

January 16th 2013- EAD and AP card issued.
January 26th 2013- Card received in mail.

May 29th 2013- Service request, as outside of processing times.

June 25th 2013- Green card/EAD stamp received in passport. Green card production ordered!

July 5th 2013- Green card arrives :)

August 22nd 2014- Daughter Born!

April 17th 2015- I-751 Sent.

April 20th 2015- NOA 1

June 2nd 2015- Biometrics Appt.

February 2nd 2016- I-751 APPROVED! 10 Year Green card issued!

 

February 22nd 2019 Applied for Citizenship! 

March 14th 2019 - Biometrics appt.

April 23rd 2019 - Interview. APPROVED!!!!!  It took 60 days!!!

i used ups, i think most people use ups or fedex, i have heard not to use usps for these types of things

Sorry, I meant the Service center where you sent your package either Vermont or California? Thanks.

I sent mine through USPS, I came across recommendations from other applicants to send my application through them because it is a government facility, and it is highly trusted by USCIS since that's what they use to send notices and envelopes too.

As long as they're able to deliver it to its destination that's all that matters.

i used ups, i think most people use ups or fedex, i have heard not to use usps for these types of things

We used USPS as well. For the K1 and AOS, we used FedEx. Since we were sending to a P.O.Box, we figured USPS would be easier in this instance. And somewhat "happy" to see other people haven't received their NOAs or checks cashed yet. I was worried and we sent everything off on 4/15! Sounds like we have a bit more of a wait. Maybe we should have done this in March before the big rush from tax season.
