K1 Texas- 190 days and still nothing!!!!!! Tier 2 Officer

8 posts in this topic

Recommended Posts

Tier 2 officers are a ####### shoot. Some are as moronic and bad as the Tier 1, some are moronic but sympathetic, and some are useful.

As for speaking to one, you should ask for one when speaking to a Tier 1 person. If the tier 1 person refuses to do so, just keep on calling back until you get a useful one.

It probably is not helpful at all since you are still within the processing timeframe for TSC based on your NOA1 date in your timeline.

Sadly, you are likely to be within government stated processing times for at least 2.5 more months. Try calling, but try not to be too disappointed if it amounts to zilch.

Sadly. USCIS posts processing updates around mid month, give or take a week - at least they are supposed to.

Last publications was around March 10th, for period ending 31st of Jan --> 2nd of August or before.

Next one will be mid April, if they move up a month (we have seen 2-6 weeks moves lately), it would be 2nd of September.

Mid May possibly 2nd of October.

You will only have a reasonable chance with a service enquiry if if your NOA-1 date is before the published date...

It sucks, I know.

If they keep moving the dates by a month each time (and they might not and actually slow down), I myself will only be outside of normal processing times in Mid August - or around 8 months post NOA-1.

Difficult to predict - but assume 8 months for now before you have a chance for recourse.
